Come discuss ethical hacking with CCB experts during the renown BruCON cybersecurity event.

The Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB), Belgium's cybersecurity authority, is proud to announce its participation in BruCON 2024, an annual event focused on cybersecurity and hacking. The event, which will take place in Mechelen from 19 to 20 September, brings together security professionals, students, and enthusiasts from various backgrounds.

As a proud sponsor of BruCON 2024, the CCB continues our ongoing commitment of fostering innovation and knowledge sharing within the cybersecurity community. CCB expert, Johan Caluwe, will be giving a talk explaining API Hacking.

Groundbreaking Vulnerability Reporting legal framework

The CCB will explain how Belgium’s “Safe Harbour” legislation provides (even in the absence of a Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure Policy) legal protection for ethical hackers by defining clear guidelines for individuals who discover vulnerabilities. This new legal framework was adopted in 2023 as part of the Belgian national cybersecurity strategy.

Attendees of BruCON 2024 are invited to visit CCB’s stand to learn more about this important legislation and other initiatives that contribute to Belgium's cybersecurity landscape. Our team of experts will be available to discuss the nuances of the law, its implementation, and its potential impact on cybersecurity practices.
