Safer Internet Day has been organised by the European Commission every year in February since 2009. It has quickly spread beyond Europe and is now celebrated in over 110 countries.
The target audiences are young people, parents, teachers, youth workers and educators. Different tools and actions are offered to stimulate safe, responsible and positive use of the internet by young people. It is also possible to create an activity and register it on the site.
