More than 500 cybersecurity experts put their heads together in the fight against current cyberthreats

News

Yesterday, the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium held its Quarterly Cyber Threat Report Event (QCTR) - 2021-Q2.  QCTR is a quarterly event that features renowned cybersecurity experts discussing the most important cyber threats of the moment. This is the 4th time that the CCB has organised a QCTR. The event has grown to be the largest of its kind in Belgium. Today's edition attracted 900 interested parties from 55 different countries. On average, there were 500 experts simultaneously in the online meeting.

It is our belief that information sharing is an important weapon in the fight against cybercrime. Not surprisingly, the increasing threat of ransomware was on the agenda. In addition, insights were shared about Hafnium and  mobile malware as Flubot or the banking trojan Teabot.
